NORFOLK - Mrs. Eva Thomas of 1510 S. Julian Ave., died Saturday in a hospital.

A native of Princess Ann County, she was a member of Greater St. Andrews A.M.E. 
Church, Virginia Beach, and the Oldest Mother of the Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Novella Dollar and Mrs. Olivia Ricks, both 
of Norfolk; a son, John L. Thomas of Norfolk; a brother, Otis Butts of 
Chesapeake; and 11 grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Greater St. Andrews A.M.E. 
Church, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. N. Fuller. Burial will be in Calvary 
Cemetery. Graves Funeral Home is in charge.
