Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Saturday, March 20, 1993 
John Thomas, of the 1500 block of St. Julian Ave., died March 18, 1993, in his
residence.

Mr. Thomas was born in Princess Anne County and had retired from the Department
of Vector Control with the state of Virginia after four years of service. He was
an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include a sister, Norvella Dollar of Norfolk; a brother-in-law, Nelson
Dollar Sr. of Norfolk; a niece, Joyce D. Nichols of Virginia Beach; a nephew,
Ronald Thomas of Virginia Beach; and a host of other nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Graves Funeral Chapel by the
Rev. J.L. Kearney. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Friends may join the
family at the residence.
