NORFOLK - Peter Anthony Thomas, 57, of the 3000 block of Little Haven Road, died 
Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2010 in his residence. He was a native of Norfolk and was the 
son of the late Adaline "Andy" Raphoon Thomas. He was a graduate of First Colonial 
High School and St. Francis College.

Pete owned the Thomas Insurance Agency and was a self-employed insurance broker.

He was a Roman Catholic and a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church and was a 
member and former president of the Kiwanis Club of Norfolk. He was an avid tennis 
player.

Survivors include his loving daughter, Grace Ann Willenbrink of Virginia Beach; 
his father, Tony Thomas of Virginia Beach; his brother, Martin A. Thomas; and his 
wife, Barbara of Virginia Beach; his niece, Rebecca T. Zborowski and her husband 
Eric; and two nephews, Martin A. Thomas Jr. and his wife Maggie and John Paul 
Thomas; and three great-nephews and special friends, Paul and Chris Miles.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Aug. 21, at 11 a.m. in St. Nicholas 
Catholic Church, Virginia Beach. Burial will be private in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk chapel, is handling arrangements.
