LOTTIE J. THOMAS A telegram was received here yesterday from Thomas Lowery, Jr., at Washington, D.C., announcing the death of his sister, Mrs. Lottie J. Thomas, wife of E. Keeling Thomas, son of E.T. Thomas of the Norfolk Health Department. Mrs. Thomas' death occurred suddenly at Clarksburg, W. Va., yesterday. Mrs. Thomas, who was in the twenty-fifth year of her age, was a daughter of the late Thomas Lowery, for many years connected with the customs house here, and a sister of John R. Lowery, the present deputy collector of customs at this port. The body will arrive here this evening. Announcement of the funeral will be made later. ************************************************************************** The body of Mrs. Lottie J. Thomas, wife of E. Keeling Thomas, who died suddenly, Tuesday, at Clarksburg, W. Va., arrived in Norfolk last night for funeral and burial. The body was taken to the residence of her brother, Thomas Lowery, 139 Tenth Street, where the funeral will be held at 3:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Services will be conducted by Rev. Stuart Nye Hutchison of the First Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
