Anne China Thomas, 95, of the 400 block of Massachusetts Ave., died March 7, 1999, 
in a local hospital.

Mrs. Thomas was a native of Tripoli, Lebanon, and was the widow of Frank P. 
Thomas. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Norfolk.

Survivors include a son, Joseph Thomas of Norfolk; a daughter, Alice T. Andrews of 
Mechanicsville, Va.; a brother, Michael China of Tripoli, Lebanon; three 
grandsons, James, Dan and Frank Andrews; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-
great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic 
Cemetery by Father Julian B. Goodman. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 
p.m. today in the Norfolk chapel of H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments. In lieu of 
flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
