Gladys Wilber Thomas, 95, died Oct. 1, 1995.

She was the beloved wife of the late Owen P.; dear mother of Jeanne Kaufer of 
North Carolina and Theresa Hatcher of Cleveland; grandmother of nine; great-
grandmother of six; and the great-great-grandmother of three. She was preceded in 
death by her son, Owen.

A Funeral Mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday in Blessed Sacrament Church. 
Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Norfolk. A memorial mass will be conducted 
at 2 p.m., Oct. 28, 1995, in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 4423 Pearl Road. The 
family suggest contributions be made to Our Lady of Good Counsel Memorial Fund.
