Virginian-Pilot, May 02, 1899


Victor Jefferson, the infant son of Mamie and W.J. Thomas, as laid to rest in 
the family burial plat in Elmwood yesterday afternoon. The parents have the 
sympathies of friends who sorrow with them in the loss of their first born. 
The flowers were beautiful and pure as the soul of the little infant. The 
services were conducted by Rev. Dr. Lloyd and the pall-bearers were Messrs. 
Charles Hughes, L.O. Shipp, F. Valentine, Jr., and X.D. Holt.
