Norfolk Journal and Guide,Oct 20,1978
Norfolk - Mrs. Penina Thomas of 869 Fremont St., the wife of Harvey Thomas Jr. and 
a native of Tarboro NC, died Oct. 10 in her home.

She was a cashier 20 years and retired.  She was a Baptist.

Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Maggie Robertson of Washington;  a son, 
James Thomas of York PA;  two sisters, Mrs. Marie Dunkins of Washington and Mrs. 
Gussie Parker of San Francisco, CA;  a brother, the Rev. Willie D. Jones of 
Washington;  and four granchildren.  Graves Funeral Home had charge.
