THOMAS, MRS. LIDDIE ANN - At the residence of her son, William Thomas, 1839 West 
Thirty-sixth Street, this (Thursday) morning, September 13, 1928, at 6:30 
o'clock, MRS. LIDDIE ANN THOMAS, daughter of the late Burrell and Mrs. Willie 
Burgess Gay and widow of James Thomas, aged 72 years, 9 months, 25 days.
Body was removed to the funeral home of E. Lee Cox, 124 East Berkley Avenue, 
where funeral services will take place SATURDAY MORNING, September 15, at 11 
o'clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, Magnolia 
Cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs. Liddie Ann Thomas were conducted at the E. Lee Cox 
Funeral Home, 124 Berkley Avenue, at 11 o'clock this morning by Rev. Beacher L. 
Rhodes, pastor of Berkley Avenue Baptist Church. The following served as 
pallbearers: George Sadler, Floyd Williams, Fred Liverman, Frederick Pillage, 
M.S. Carroway, C.H. Toler and E.S. Leary. Interment was in Magnolia Cemetery.
