SUFFOLK - Earl P. Thomas Jr., 51, of the 600 block of River Birch Road, died
Jan. 16, 2007, in his residence. He was a native of Norfolk and the son of the
late Earl P. Thomas Sr. and Elizabeth Clark Thomas.

He was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School in Norfolk and Norfolk
State University where he received his B.S. degree in social work. He was a
member of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church in Norfolk.

He leaves to cherish his memory one sister, Ann Thomas of Suffolk; one nephew,
Justin Thomas; three aunts, Gloria Clark Harvey of Norfolk, Marjorie Clark of
Chesapeake, and Celestine Hall of Vermont; one uncle, Robert A. Clark of
Chesapeake; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Mount Lebanon Baptist Church,
Norfolk, by the Rev. Linda Clark. Interment will be held in Calvary Cemetery,
Norfolk. The family will assemble at his residence at 9:30 a.m. Monday.
