Norfolk Virginian Pilot December 30, 1943
Mrs. Sallie Bissell Wilkinson Thompson, aged 81 years, widow of Robert Edward 
Thompson, a native and former resident of Norfolk, died Tuesday night at 8:30 
o'clock at Baltimore, Md., where she had made her home for the past 15 years.  
Surviving her are four daughters, Mrs. James M. Harris, Mrs. W.R. Manchester, 
and Mrs. Elizabeth Carmean, all of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Mrs. Murray Frost, 
of Baltimore, Md.
Services will be held at the chapel of the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments 
tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, with the Rev. E. Ruffin Jones, D.D., rector of 
St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, officiating.  Interment will be in Cedar Grove 
Cemetery.
