Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Eliza Thompson of 3102 Roanoke avenue, who died 
Feb. 8 in a local hospital after a long illness were held Feb. 11 at 1 p.m. in 
Antioch Baptist Church with the pastor, the Rev. W. A. Gaines, officiating.

Surviving are her husband, Cleveland Thompson and three sisters, Mrs. Inez Jones 
of this city; Mrs. Blanche Newsome, Norfolk; and Mrs. Ernestine Gwinn, 
Philadelphia PA. Burial took place in Calvary Cemetery, Norfolk, with Gilmore’s 
Funeral Home in charge.
