THOMPSON, aged 69 years 8 months. Funeral from the above residence THIS AFTERNOON at 3 o'clock. Friends of the family invited to attend. Interment in Riverside Cemetery. ******************** The funeral of Mrs. Sarah E. Thompson, who died at her home, 115 Perry street, South Norfolk, Thursday evening at 10 o'clock, will be conducted from the above residence, this afternoon at 3 o'clock. The deceased was in the 70th year of her age and was well known and respected. The interment was (will be) made in Riverside cemetery, the new cemetery recently opened up on the Eastern branch of the Elizabeth river. It is said by many that this is the prettiest location for a cemetery in Tidewater.
