NEW YORK - Mrs. Magnolia Thompson of 2588 Seventh Ave., a native of Beaufort County,
N.C., and a longtime resident of Virginia Beach, Va., died Wednesday in her home.
She was the widow of Harry Thompson Sr.

She was a retired dietician.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lavonia Twine of Virginia Beach and Mrs.
Virginia Jones of New York; two sons, Harry Thompson Jr. of Virginia Beach and James
R. Thompson of Marion, Ill.; a sister, Mrs. Lena M. Jones of New York; and six
grandchildren.

A funeral will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in Graves Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev.
Mathew Lewis. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will assemble at the
home of Mrs. Alice Guy, 2517 Harrell Ave., Norfolk.
