VIRGINIA BEACH - Margaret Thompson, 95, of the 3100 block of Shore Drive, died 
April 13, 2008, in her residence.

She was a native of Portsmouth and was raised in the Ocean View section of 
Norfolk. She was the daughter of the late William and Margaret Thompson and was 
preceded in death by her sister, Sarah Franz and her brother, Francis Thompson. 
She is survived by her nephew, David Thompson of Virginia Beach.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Ms. Thompson retired from the 
Norfolk Public School System as a teacher at Granby High School.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Wednesday at 
10 a.m. by the Rev. Father Joseph H. Metzger III with burial in St. Mary's 
Catholic Cemetery.
