Norfolk Journal and Guide, Oct. 3, 1953
Funeral services were held Sunday, Sept. 27, at the New Central Baptist Church
for Robert Thompson of 118 B Avenue, with the Rev. W. B. Westbrook officiating.
 Surviving Mr. Thompson are two nieces, two nephews, and other relatives. 
Burial was in the Mt. Olive Cemetery last Monday morning at 10 o’clock with
Pretlow’s Funeral Directors in charge.
