Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Friday, April 24, 1992 
Vivian Tucker Thompson of the 700 block of Fremont St., a retired librarian,
died April 23, 1992, in a hospital.

Mrs. Thompson was born in Norfolk. She had been employed at Booker T. Washington
High School and Journal & Guide. She was a member of Unity Lutheran Church and
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. She was a graduate of Virginia State College and did
advanced studies at Columbia University. She was the widow of Edward Thompson.

Survivors include a daughter, Cathy Fontinilla, and a son, Earl M. Fontinilla,
both of Norfolk.

A memorial service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in Unity Lutheran
Church by the Rev. Raymond Winters. The family will assemble at 9:45 a.m. in the
church. Riddick Funeral Service is handling arrangements.

Memorial donations may be made to the church.
