Susan Kilby Thompson-Eight month old daughter of Robert Stahl and Mary Sue 
Lawrence Thompson, died at a local hospital yesterday at 5:30 a.m. following a 
long illness. She was a lifelong resident of Norfolk.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers, Jack Lawrence 
Thompson and Robert S. Thompson, Jr., her maternal grandmother, Mrs. A.D. 
Lawrence, and her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Myrtle A. Thompson, all of Norfolk.
The body will be taken from the Cox Funeral Home to Elmwood Cemetery for 
private funeral services at the grave this afternoon. The Rev. John F. Ward, 
rector of the Church of the Ascension, will officiate.
