NORFOLK - Bina Lee Thornton of the 100 block of W. 33rd St., a secretary, died
December 13, 1988, in a hospital.

Mrs. Thornton, a native of Norfolk, worked for Hillhaven Convalescent Center for 10
years. She was a member of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Deta M. Thornton of Norfolk; two sons, Shawn A.
Thornton and Levar Thornton, both of Norfolk; a sister, Clara Ferebee of Norfolk;
and a brother, Matthew Brown Jr. of Virginia Beach.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday in Mount Lebanon Baptist Church by
the Rev. Ronnie Joyner. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may join the
family at the residence. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
