PORTSMOUTH — Adeline Gano Thornton 63, of 920 Leckie St., a native of Portsmouth, 
died Saturday in a hospital.

She was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Chesapeake.

Survivors include a daughter, Arlene Fisher of Norristown, Pa., and two sons.

A requiem Mass will be offered at 1 p.m. today in Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic 
Church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. H.D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments, Norfolk, is in charge.
