Mrs. Sallie D. Thorogood - Funeral services for Mrs. Thorogood, 716 Johnson 
avenue, who died on Oct. 10, were held on Oct. 14 from Grace Episcopal Church 
with Rev. Mr. Martin officiating. Surviving are one niece and one nephew. 
Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge.

Norfolk - Mrs. Sallie Thorogood, who was a member of the first confirmation 
class of Grace Episcopal Church of Oct. 5,1884, died at her home here at 716 
Johnson avenue, Wednesday at 3:30 a.m. The first class was confirmed by the Rev. 
J. H. Pollard, first rector of Grace Church.

Funeral services for the deceased will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. immediately 
following the morning service.
