Sarah Snyder Throckmorton, 54, of 4129 Rundel Lane, a native of Butler, Pa., 
died Friday in a hospital. 
Mrs. Throckmorton had retired from C&P Telephone Co. as an operator after 26 
years. She was a member of Tidewater Telephone Pioneers, the Tidewater Rose 
Society and Thalia Trinity Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her husband, William G. Throckmorton Sr.; two daughters, 
Donna T. Suggs and Ann C. Throckmorton; two sons, William G. Throckmorton Jr. 
and David R. Throckmorton, and a brother Douglas R. Snyder, all of Virginia 
Beach; and five grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Monday in Smith & Williams Funeral 
Home, Kempsville Chapel; by the Rev. Robert C. Bradford Jr. Burial will be in 
Forest Lawn Cemetery.
The family will be at the funeral home from 2-4 p.m. Sunday and at the 
residence. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Fund.
