Virginian Pilot March 8, 1963

Mrs. Rose Leicht Thurman, 78, of 275 Lucille Ave., widow of Beverly Thurman and 
daughter of Jacob and Mrs. Mary Leicht, died Thursday in her home.
A native of Ashland, Ky., she lived in Norfolk 55 years and was a member of 
Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Howren and a granddaughter, Lina 
M. Howren, both of Norfolk.
The body will be taken from Ewell & Williamson Funeral Home to St. Mary's 
Cemetery for a funeral service Saturday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Kenneth M. Rizer 
of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
