NORFOLK — Vincent Paul Tierno, 87, of 501 E. Ocean View Ave., former ice cream 
company operator, died Thursday morning in a hospital.

He retired in 1945 from his business, Turner’s Fresh Made Ice Cream Co. at Ocean 
View.

A native of Naples, Italy, he lived here 45 years. He was a member of Holy Trinity 
Catholic Church, the Sixty-Plus Club, and Golden Age Club of Holy Trinity Catholic 
Church.

He is survived by a son, Gene V. Tierno of Norfolk.

The body will be taken from Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, to Holy 
Trinity Church for a requiem mass Monday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery.

The rosary will be recited Sunday at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
