JAMES J. TIETGEN — Funeral services for Mr. Tietgen, whose death occurred Monday 
night at a local hospital, were held at 10 a. m. yesterday at St. Mary’s Catholic 
Church, the Rev. A. J. Taylor officiating. There were many floral offerings. The 
casket was covered with a cluster of pink roses and ferns. During the service, 
several selections were rendered by the choir of St. Mary’s Female Academy. 
Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Pallbearers were C. L. Halblieb, George 
Mayo, Hugh Tarrell, Sol Tischler, H. A. Bass and B. O. Diggs.
