Norfolk Journal and Guide, Oct 26, 1963
Norfolk - Frank Tillett of 2405 Hale street, an employee of the Chesapeake and
Ohio Railroad for 36 years, who died Oct. 17 in a Newport News hospital,
received final rites Tuesday at First Calvary Baptist Church.

The Rev. C. E. Griffin officiated at the service.  Burial was in Calvary
Cemetery under direction of Graves Funeral Home.

Mr. Tillett, a native of Manteo, NC, is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lena S.
Tillett;  two sons,  Kenneth and Sherman Tillett of Norfolk;  a daughter, Mrs.
Belva Rivera of Norfolk;  a brother, Merlin Tillett;  and six sisters, Mrs.
Willie Wescott, Mrs. Leola Bray, Mrs. Martha Berry and Mrs. Hazel Wescott of
Manteo, Mrs. Maxine White and Mrs. Mary Anderson of Norfolk.
