Tilley, aged 75, died at the home of his son, Edward M. Tilley, Bernardsville, N.J., yesterday afternoon. He was a native of Ogdensburg, N.Y., and resided in Norfolk for many years before going to New Jersey to make his home. He was the son of the late E.M. and Mrs. Eliza Hare Tilley and is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nettie Lindsay Tilley, two sons, Coke M. Tilley, of Orange, Texas and Edward M. Tilley, of Bernardsville; one brother, George T. Tilley, of Norfolk and two sisters, Mrs. Richard Tebault and Mrs. John W. Jones, of Norfolk. The body will arrive in Norfolk tomorrow morning via the Pennsylvania Railroad. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. ********************************************************************* William M. Tilley -- Funeral services for Mr. Tilley will be conducted at the residence of his sister, Mrs. Richard Tebault, 1022 Westover avenue, this morning at 11 o'clock. The Rev. M.S. Eagle, rector of St. Bride's Episcopal Church will officiate. Burial will be in the family plot in Magnolia Cemetery.
