Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark October 13, 1932

Miss Katherine Tilley, aged 77, 7209 West Indian River Road, died yesterday 
afternoon in a hospital after a lingering illness of several months.  Miss Tilley 
was a native of Ogdensburg, N.Y., and had made her home in this section 
practically all her life and was widely known and esteemed.  She was a daughter of 
the late Benjamin and Mrs. Lucy B. Tilley and the only survivors are several 
nieces and nephews.  She was a member of Memorial Methodist Church. 
The body was taken to the funeral home of J.R. Williams,1027 Chesapeake avenue, 
South Norfolk, pending funeral arrangements.
