M. Tilley In Berkley Tuesday afternoon, at 4:30 o'clock, Mrs. Delha B., wife of Mr. Wm. M. Tilley and daughter of E.C. Lindsay, Esq., passed from earth, in the midst of sorrowing friends and relatives at the age of 23 years. She was a universal favorite and dearly beloved by all who knew her and her sad demise has cast a gloom over a large circle of acquaintances who sincerely mourn her loss. Her funeral will take place this morning at 11 o'clock from the Chestnut Street M.E. Tilley, in the 23d year of her age. Funeral at M.E. Church, Berkley. TODAY, 3d, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Norfolk Virginian June 3, 1886 *************************************************************************** The funeral services of Mrs. Delha B., wife of Mr. W.M. Tilley, took place at the M.E. Church yesterday morning and were conducted by the pastor, Rev. B.F. Lipscomb, who, in his touching discourse, paid a most feeling tribute to the Christian character of the deceased in the presence of a large congregation who had assembled to render the last sad tribute.
