Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Sunday, June 13, 2004 
Lucille L. Timmons , 87, of the 900 block of Widgeon Road, went to her heavenly
reward on June 9, 2004, at DePaul Hospital. Lucille was born Aug. 5, 1916, in
New York, N.Y. to the late Percy Tunnison and Lena T. Drummond.

With her mother, she moved to Norfolk at the age of 9 and was reared in Lamberts
Point. She later returned to New York where she retired after 15 years as a
nursing assistant for Parker Jewish Rehab. She was a member of Antioch Baptist
Church, Corona, N.Y. where she served faithfully on the floral and birthday clubs.

She leaves to cherish her memory her sister, Pearl Black Oliver (Willard) of
Norfolk; four nieces; six nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Metropolitan Funeral
Service, 7246 Granby St., the Rev. Edward R. Shambry Jr. officiating. Interment
will be at Calvary Cemetery, Norfolk. Family and friends will assemble at 955
Widgeon Road one hour prior to service for procession to the chapel. To send
