NORFOLK, Va. – Elsie Connell Tinaro, 82, Valentines, Va., died April 29, 2005, in 
a local hospital.

Mrs. Tinaro retired from the civil service department of the U.S. Army. She was a 
member of Azalea Acres Civic League and local and national camping organizations.

Survivors include her husband, Louis M. Tinaro Jr. of Norfolk; her son, Louis M. 
Tinaro III of Virginia Beach; her sister, Lacy Connell Doughtie of Murfreesboro; 
and her brother, Clayton P. Connell of Boykins.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in the Norfolk Chapel of H.D. Oliver 
Funeral Apts. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's 
Home for Disabled Children, 6171 Kempsville Road, Norfolk.
