Norfolk Journal and Guide, Nov 3,1962
Mrs. Ethel Tinsley, 74, of 1218 ½ Chapel street, who died in a Norfolk hospital 
Oct. 28 was given final rites Thursday at First Calvary Baptist Church.

The Rev. C. E. Griffin officiated at the service.  Burial was in Calvary 
Cemetery under direction of Morning Glory Funeral Home.

A native of Louisa County, VA, Mrs. Tinsley was a member of First Calvary, and 
its No. 1 Usher board, and the Elks.

Survivors are her husband, Henry Tinsley;  a son Henry Tinsley of Norfolk;  a 
brother…..
