Norfolk-Virginian, October 15, 1954
Mrs. Lena Snyder Tish, 78, daughter of Jacob and Mrs. Bernice Bress Snyder, 
died Wednesday at 10:50 p.m. at a Norfolk hospital. She was a native of L
Lithuania and had been a resident of Norfolk for 50 years, residing at 323 West 2
29th Street at the time of her death.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mollie Tish Jason, and one brother, Sam S
Snyder of Norfolk, three grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted at the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts today at 11 a.m. by 
Rabbi Paul Reich of Beth El Temple of which Mrs. Tish was a member. Burial will 
be in B'Nai Israel Cemetery.
