He was a native of Norfolk and a member of the bricklayers’ union. Several sisters survive. The body was taken to H.D. Oliver’s funeral apartments pending arrangements. Virginian Pilot March 20, 1926 William E Titmus , who died Thursday night at a local hospital, will be buried tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o’clock. Services will be conducted at the residence of Mrs. J. F. Murphy, 731 Woodis Avenue, a sister of the deceased. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. The body last night was at the funeral home of V. H. Smith, 631 Olney Road. Norfolk Ledger Dispatch March 20, 1926 Titmus- At a local hospital Thursday evening, March 18, 1926 at 6 o’clock, William Edward, son of the late James E. and Malinda Titmus age 50 years. The remains will be taken from the funeral apartments of V. H. Smith, 631 Olney Road, corner of Manteo Street to the residence of his sister Mrs. J. F. Murphy, 731 Woodis Avenue. For funeral services, Sunday afternoon, March 21 at 2:30 o’clock. Friend of the family invited. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery.
