Titmus-At the residence 107 E. High Street, Monday, March 15,1920, at 1:30 p.m., in the 72nd year of his age. Funeral services from the above residence Wednesday afternoon, March 17, at 2 o’clock. Interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Friends invited to attend. Norfolk Ledger Dispatch March 16, 1920 James E. Titmus died at his residence 107 High Street, yesterday afternoon in his 72nd year. He was a lifelong resident of Norfolk and had many friends. The funeral will take place tomorrow at the residence tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock, Rev. E.P. Miner officiating. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery. He is survived by a widow, Mrs. Melinda Titmus, one son, W. E. Titmus, of Norfolk; and three daughters, Mrs. Louise L. Zepp, Mrs. J.F. Murphy both of Norfolk and Mrs. L.G. Shrier of New York City.
