Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark Sunday July 1, 1917
Mrs. Laura Ellen Tomlinson, widow of the late William Tomlinson, died last 
night at 6 o'clock at the residence 732 Marshall avenue.  She was 64 years 
old.  Mrs. Tomlinson was a native of Richmond, and has lived in Norfolk for 
fourteen years.  She was a member of the Park Avenue Methodist church.
Mrs. Tomlinson is survived by three daughters, Mrs. J.T. Leath of Richmond, 
Mrs. C.S. Whitehurst and Miss S. Ellington, both of Norfolk, two sons, A.A. 
Tomlinson of Philadelphia and C.L. Tomlinson of Richmond, and two sisters, 
Mrs. S.O. Cook and Mrs. S.L. Roberts, both of Norfolk.
Funeral arrangements had not been completed last night, but will be announced 
later.
