Virginian Pilot December 19, 1961

Mrs. Jennie Cuthriell Tompkins, 86, of 8141 Shore Drive, widow of Henry Samuel 
Tompkins, died in a Norfolk hospital Saturday.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was a life long resident of Norfolk.
A funeral service will be conducted in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home today at 3 p.m. 
by the Rev. C.E. Hawks of East Ocean View Baptist Church.  Burial will be in 
Elmwood Cemetery.
