Mr. Tompkins was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk and is survived by two sons, Frank L. and Roy G. Tompkins; two daughters, Mrs. W.B. Johnson and Mrs. George W. Parker; four grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. L.W. Capps, and a brother, H.S. Tompkins, all of Norfolk. Services will be held at H.D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments, 610-12 East Freemason Street tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock with the Rev. Vincent C. Franks, D.D., rector of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, of which Mr. Tompkins was a member, officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
