Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Monday, August 10, 1992 
Dorothy Burwell Tootle, 73, of the 500 block of E. Liberty St., died Aug. 4,
1992, in a hospital.

Mrs. Tootle was born in Norfolk. She was was a member of New Central Baptist
Church. Survivors include two daughters, Emma Burwell of Portsmouth and
Bernadette Williams of Norfolk; a son, Donald Burwell of Norfolk; and eight
grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in New Central Baptist Church by
the Rev. Theodore Watson. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Family and
friends will assemble at noon at 555 Liberty St. for the procession. Twilight
Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
