Virginian Pilot February 15, 1980

Frank Joseph Toscano, 71, of 1530 Crane Ave., the husband of Mrs. Marie Festa 
Toscano and a lifelong resident of Norfolk, died Thursday in a hospital.
He was retired from BeLo Markets as a grocery manager and was a Navy veteran of 
World War II. He was a member of St. Pius X. Catholic Church.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Catherine Kastnerbaum and a sister, 
Mrs. Daniel Festa, both of Norfolk. 
A Christian Wake service will be held tonight at 8 in H.D .Oliver Funeral 
Apartments. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Pius X. 
Catholic Church. Burial with full military honors will be in St. Mary's 
Cemetery. The family asks that flowers be omitted. Memorial donations may be 
made to De Paul Hospital, 150 Kingsley Lane, Norfolk.

TOSCANO, FRANK JOSEPH — In a Norfolk hospital, Thursday, FRANK JOSEPH TOSCANO, 
husband of Mrs. Marie Festa Toscano and son of the late Bernard and Mrs. 
Catherine Russo Toscano, in the 71st year of his age. A funeral mass will be 
held in St. Plus X Catholic Church Saturday at 10 a.m. Burial, St. Mary's 
Cemetery. H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk, has charge. Omit flowers and make 
memorial donations to DePaul Hospital.
