Virginian Pilot August 15, 1956

Mrs. Catherine Marie Toscano, 68, widow of Bernard Toscano and daughter of the 
late Frank and Mrs. Minnie Russo, died yesterday at 1:15 p.m. at a Norfolk 
hospital.
Mrs. Toscano was a native of Italy and had been a resident of Norfolk since 
1908, residing at 308 W. 19th St. at the time of her death. She was a member of 
Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
 Surviving her are one daughter, Mrs. Daniel Festa, one son, Frank J. Toscano 
and two grandchildren, of Norfolk and a sister, Mrs. Theresa Gravina of 
Philadelphia, Pa.
The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church for funeral services tomorrow at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. 
Mary's Cemetery. Rosary services will be conduced at the funeral apartments 
today at 7:30 p.m.

NORFOLK—Funeral	services for Mrs. Catherine Marie Toscano, widow of Bernard 
Toscano, who died Tuesday at a Norfolk hospital, were conducted at Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church yesterday at 10 a.m. by the Rev. Thomas J. Walsh, pastor. Burial 
was in St. Mary's Cemetery. The pallbearers were Nick Toscano, Joe Vita, Raymond 
Gregory, W. C. Perry, Felix Ferra, Ralph Festa, Frank Vita and Lawrence Giordan.
