Norfolk Virginian Pilot March 20, 1944

Mrs. Jennie Howard Ghiselin Towill, 66, widow  of John William Towill and 
daughter of the late William Howard and Mrs. Louise Fugit Ghiselin, died at a 
local hospital, yesterday at 5:20 a.m. 
Mrs. Towill, a native of Washington, D.C., resident of Norfolk for 15 years, 
lived at 432 West Nineteenth Street. She is survived by one sister, Miss Mamie 
Benn Ghiselin, of Norfolk; a brother, Hardy B. Ghiselin, Newport News and a 
niece, Mrs. M.E. Bosley, of Buffalo, N.Y.
Funeral services will be conducted at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Tuesday 
at noon by Dr. Taylor Willis, rector of Christ and St. Luke's Church, of which 
Mrs. Towill was a member. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
