The Norfolk Virginian Pilot October 7, 1950
Mrs. Fredericka Yahn Townsend, 82, widow of Frank H. Townsend, died at the 
residence, 1614 Willoughby Avenue, yesterday at 3:25 p.m.
She is survived by one son, Thomas H. Townsend, and one brother, Andrew H. 
Yahn, both of Norfolk.
Mrs. Townsend was a life-long resident of Norfolk and a member of St. Peter's 
Episcopal Church.  She was a member of the Ladies' Guild, Rector's Aid Society 
and Daughters of the King.
The body will be taken from the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to Elmwood cemetery 
for services tomorrow at 4 p.m.
