Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark  Tuesday August 29, 1922

Mrs. Hontas Rust Toy - Widow of Joseph A. Toy, died at Oyster Bay, N.Y. 
Saturday evening.  She was a former resident of Norfolk and is survived by two 
sons, Thomas D. Toy, of New York and Capt. Channing Rust Toy, U.S.A.  Funeral 
services will be held at the grave, Elmwood Cemetery, tomorrow morning at 9 
o'clock, Rev. Sparks W. Melton, D.D., pastor of Freemason Street Baptist 
Church officiating.
