Surviving him are five cousins, Calvert R. Dey and Mrs. Annie Dey Whichard, of Norfolk, Dr. William M. Dey, of the University of North Carolina, and Misses Lelia H. and Evelyn Santos, of Norfolk. The body will be brought to Norfolk, and will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, to Elmwood Cemetery for services at the grave Monday at 12 o'clock noon, with the Rev. Sparks W. Melton, D.D., pastor of Freemason Street Baptist Church, officiating.
