Norfolk - A funeral was held for Meredith H. Trent of 720 E. Brambleton avenue 
in the Hale Funeral Home chapel recently, with the Rev. Mrs. Queenie Barton in 
charge.
The son of the late Meredith Trent and Mrs. Lizzie Trent, Mr. Trent died in a 
local hospital after a short illness.  He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. 
Fannie Riddick.
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge.
