NORFOLK — Mary D. Tretola, of the 7700 block of Restmere Road, died Sept. 7,1989.

Mrs. Tretola, a Norfolk native, had retired as a buyer of ladies apparel from W.G. 
Schwartz Department Store after 30 years. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament 
Catholic Church, St. Mary's Christ Child Society and Senior Citizens 60 Plus Club, 
Ocean View.

Survivors include her husband, Salvatore J. Tretola; three sisters, Josephine 
Cacace of Norfolk, Lucille Morgan of Portsmouth and Angelia Signaigo of 
Washington, D.C.; and a brother, Charles Demma of Maryland.

The funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Blessed Sacrament Catholic 
Church by the Rev. Julian B. Goodman. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. A 
Christian wake will be held at 7 p.m. today in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 
Norfolk.
