NORFOLK — Marie Sansone Trimyer, 72, of 6220 Powhatan Ave., a native of Norfolk 
and the widow of Morgan N. Trimyer Sr., died Saturday in a hospital.

She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and was active in a number 
of civic organizations.

Survivors include two sons, Morgan N. Trimyer Jr. and Hervey A. Trimyer, and a 
sister, Anna S. Britt, of Norfolk; and a grandchild.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be said at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Blessed Sacrament 
Catholic Church by the Rev. Thomas Nee. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Catholic 
Cemetery. A Christian wake service will be said at 7 p.m. today in H.D. Oliver’s 
Funeral Apartments, Norfolk. Memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity. 
The family will be at 6033 Westwood Terrace, Norfolk.
