Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Tracey Zadorozny Trimyer; daughters, Meaghan Trimyer and Mallory Perreault (Andrew Perreault); son, Nate Trimyer (fiancée Tory Delpierre); brother, Hervey Trimyer (Charlene Trimyer) and nieces, Ashley and Julie Williams; grandson, Evan Perreault; and an aunt, Doris Trimyer Gresham; in addition to countless friends and family. Morgan was born on January 27, 1943, in Norfolk; the first son of the late Marie Sansone Trimyer and Morgan Nathaniel Trimyer, Sr. A graduate of Norfolk Catholic High School and Old Dominion College, he attended Officer Candidate School and was commissioned as a 1st Lieutenant in the Army Corps of Engineers with Advisory Team 15 during the Vietnam Conflict. Morgan enjoyed a lifelong career in the insurance business as a partner in Welton, Duke, and Hawks in Portsmouth, VA, and later, as Senior Vice President of Bankers Insurance, LLC. He also served as past Director of Community Bank, based in Staunton, Virginia, and on the agency councils of several insurance companies. Heavily involved in the community, he was a past president of the Norfolk Rotary, the ODU Monarch Club, and the Maury Booster Association, as well as a member of the VA Jaycees, Sacred Heart Church and Blessed Sacrament Church. Morgan enjoyed sailing, having raced up and down the Chesapeake Bay and to Bermuda several times, was a long time Old Dominion University fan and supporter, and was an avid traveler and history buff. He will be remembered as a devoted father, husband, and brother; a loyal friend; and a consummate gentleman who was always ready with a quick joke or kind word to put others at ease. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 4th at 2:00pm in Blessed Sacrament Church, Norfolk. The family will receive friends in the Norfolk chapel of H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., on Friday from 5:00 to 7:00pm.
