Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, April 21, 1994 
Sarah Lou Tripp of the 600 block of Sanford Ave., died April 9, 1994, in her
residence.

Mrs. Tripp was born in South Boston, Va., where she was a former member of Five
Forks Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, John C. Tripp; two sons, Terry A. Tripp of
Capitol Heights, Md. and Bruce Tripp of Newark; six sisters, Bernice Johnson,
Elnora J. Ross, Mildred J. Ross and Lorene J. Jones, all of Norfolk, Cora J.
Sutphin of South Boston and Alice Johnson of Philadelphia; two brothers, Joseph
L. Johnson of Norfolk and William Johnson Jr. of Philadelphia; and one grandchild.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday in First Baptist Church Lamberts
Point, Norfolk, by the Rev. Anthony Paige. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery .
The body will be ready for viewing Friday at 3 p.m. The family will assemble at
the home of Lorene Jones at 11 a.m. at 1345 W. 39th St. Carlos A. Howard Funeral
Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
